Portfolio Development sets up and prepares Creavis's new research activities.
Various perspectives and competences come together in interdisciplinary teams to enable new innovations to be assessed and to develop specific ideas for these, including business plans. The teams are generally networked with internal and external experts.
One of the starting points for the evaluation is systematic observation of future trends, through which potential innovation areas are identified and structured. They are then further evaluated via technology and market analyses and assessed on the basis of defined criteria. For selected innovation areas validated idea portfolios are developed as part of so called evaluation projects. From this evolve proposals for new innovation and technology fields or project houses that further develop the Creavis portfolio.
