That includes working on novel processes for the production of feed additives, which Evonik is already marketing now to secure the future competitiveness of the Group. This involves developing raw material alternatives or exploring new products. For example, we work to develop innovative amino acids or alternatives to the use of antibiotics to prevent infections in livestock farming.
In technological terms, our projects rely on the competencies of Creavis in industrial biotechnology, but we also work closely with Technology & Infrastructure (modeling, process development, analytics, etc.) as well as Nutrition & Care (marketing, application technology, and upscaling).
